FACT: St. Matthew's House has been over-capacity since June 2005.

For a growing segment of the population, living affordably is a daily struggle. Rising prices, a sinking economy and unforeseen medical bills or life controlling issues can lead to financial burdens and eventually, homelessness. It's a problem that affects EVERYONE.

For over 20 years, St. Matthew's House has been the ONLY place in Naples, and the Friendship House in Immokalee,  to offer food, a home, spiritual support and a structured environment with life-changing programs to assist neighbors in need and bring them help, hope and a path to a new life.

Current Needs - Check here for updated lists of what's needed at St. Matthew's House and Immokalee Friendship House. 8/24/10 update: Our Food Pantry and Direct Assistance program is extremely low on:

• Diapers sizes 2-6
• Baby wipes
• Canned fruit and vegetables
• Canned soups
• Canned tuna
• Cereal
• Rice
• Dried beans
• Powdered drink mix
• Spaghetti and sauce
• Peanut butter and jelly
  

These are staples that go in the grocery bags given to the community in need. Your donations are always appreciated. Thank you!
